Carly is a sweet pug mix who came to Polar Pug Rescue from
the local shelter, she had been dropped off sometime during
the night and was left tied to the door.
Carly was underweight, half bald and had several scars. She
had a severe ear infection and had scratched her ear so bad
she gave herself a cauliflower ear. The staff at Polar Pug
began calling her Carly-flower and the name stuck.
She has made huge strides since becoming part of a new
family. She has gained weight and has grown a nice new
shiny coat. She has blossomed into a happy-go-lucky dog
and has really come out of her shell.
She is still a little shy around new dogs but is becoming more
socialized every day. Now, instead of hiding behind her
mommy or daddy, she jumps into your lap and gives kisses!
